The two guns featured sport 10.5" and 11.5" barrels, respectively, operate via direct gas impingement (DGI), and utilize FERFRANS' patented Rate Reduction System (RRS) which mechanically reduces the weapons' cyclic rate of fire to below the 700 rpm threshold. This lowered cyclic rate significantly enhances the SOAR SBRs' controllability on full-auto, allowing for precision/surgical full-auto fire during CQB / CQC (Close Quarters Battle / Close Quarters Combat). Ferfrans SOAR SBRs were designed and developed specifically for military Special Operations and law enforcement SWAT end users, for urban warfare, jungle warfare and CQB/CQC applications. They're ideal for Direct Action ops, Personal Security Detail (PSD) ops, and any/all other combat operations where fighting is likely to occur within medium distance. The FERFRANS SOAR is available as either a complete weapon system or complete upper receiver assembly, depending on the customer's needs and requirements.
